Extreme Glide Silicone Lube

We've got a lube review for you today - Extreme Glide from Body Action Products.  This is another silicone lube, and based on past experiences, we didn't hold out much hope.  I have to say that we were both pleasantly surprised.

Being sore due to an extreme wax job only hours earlier, my bits were out of action a few nights ago, yet Dave was still interested.  I was feeling generous, so I offered him a hand-job instead.  He readily agreed (no surprises there) and we decided to give this lube a go.  Astonishingly, 2 or 3 drops were all it took of this incredible lube for him to get a comfortable hand-job.  When I switched to using both hands, another 2-3 drops were all that were required.  And Dave got his two-handed hand-job.

The next night he said it was my turn, and used a few drops to start things off.  Now I was still a bit sore, so I took over doing it myself.  I was just as impressed using it on my bits as I had been on Dave's.  Bear in mind, we have just gone into winter here in Sydney, and it has been wet and miserable for the last few weeks.  Our regular lube, Sylk (while still the best in the world) is rather cold to apply right now, and generally needs significant warming before it gets put anywhere that's already warm.  Extreme Glide, on the other hand, did not.  It felt almost warm when it went on, and has a silky feel to it that is rather nice.  And it goes a really long way too.  So, big ticks of approval from us both there.

Then we decided to use it during straight sex to see how it went.  "Absolutely fine" was the verdict.  This worked well both internally and externally, and unlike other silicone lubes that we've tried, we didn't run the risk of slipping off the bed.  It didn't smell funny, it didn't irritate my skin (always a good thing) and it didn't have any weird extras like the supposed aphrodisiacs of some of the others.  It claims to be good to use for massage, and it felt really nice on the skin, so it probably would be good for regular (as well as intimate) massage.

My only complaint with it was the clean-up.  The packaging claims that you only need soap and a wet cloth.  Now because of my sensitive skin, I don't use soap.  The body wash I use wasn't quite as good at getting the lube off as soap may have been.  I was left, not lubed up, but definitely aware that it wasn't all gone.  As I've mentioned, it feels rather nice and silky on the skin, so I decided that I could live with that.  There is a warning on the packaging that it may stain fabrics, so you wouldn't want to spill it, but it is colourless, so I imagine that you would end up with the equivalent of an oil stain, rather than a coloured patch.

All in all, this is a damn fine lube and one that we would recommend for situations where you want a silicone, rather than a water-based lube.  Go and buy some today; you won't regret it.
