As a follow on from last week's review (The Expert Guide to Anal Pleasure for Men) this week we are reviewing Tristan Taormino's Expert Guide to Anal Sex, which came out in 2007. This is another educational movie where Tristan focuses on anal sex for women and how to go about it. She follows the same format of lessons on anatomy, preparation and penetration, while Lorelei Lee and Ariel X demonstrate and Tristan offers them various tips. Two couples (Ricki White and Marcos Leon and Adrianna Nicole and Manuel Ferrara) then give demonstrations with various toys (and a mind-blowing orgasm from Adrianna as a finale).
I think the biggest thing (no pun intended) that we got from watching the Expert Guide to Anal Sex is that you need to take time. Anal sex isn't something that you can do as a quickie, just before falling asleep. It takes time, lots of time. And the woman needs to be warmed up first with foreplay that doesn't involve her bum. Then start with just touching it, around and on the anus. Go slowly and use lots of lube. As Tristan says, you can never have too much lube. Oh, and guys? Saliva isn't lube. It just doesn't work for anal. No-one wants a ripped anus from being too dry.

This is another movie we should have seen years ago. As regular readers will have figured out, I'm not a fan of anal play. All in all, I guess it took an hour and a half. I know that seems like ages, and it was a long time, but that's how long I needed. I suspect that it will take 2-3 hours for me to get to the point of having a dildo (or Dave) in there, but that's something that the movies stress - it takes time, and each time you try it takes time, but as the body learns to relax and cope with it, it gets a bit quicker. I must admit, I didn't find it particularly erotic; I found it more distracting than anything. And I know from past experience that there has to be something in my pussy if there's something in my bum, otherwise my pussy feels left out and lonely. So, will we try again? Probably.
