Another random classic from the to be watched pile today. Every Inch A Lady was produced in 1975 by the Amero brothers and starts a who's who of 70 porn stars. Darby Lloyd Rains, Kim Pope, Jamie Gillis, Marc Stevens, Mr Infinity, and Hairy, I mean Harry, Reems are the headliners. I don't now whether she was deliberately made up to look older but Darby looked far older than she was in this one. She was just over thirty when it was made but looked 50. It was either makeup or very hard living.
As with most porn from that era that has survived, this one has a coherent (if implausable) plot. Crystal Laverne is the owner of New York's most famous call girl (and guy) agency. She is happy, successful and about to be married to Chino. She has the perfect life... or does she? Could the handsome (keep with me here... lots of back hair and a big molester moustache was handsome back then) Chino be plotting against her?
The film starts with Crystal interviewing a new recruit to her agency (Kim Pope) before introducing her to another of her workers (David Savage) to "teach her massage". Naturally they have sex, with Crystal spying through a peephole (gotta see how the new recruit performs) and shouting instructions through a hidden loudspeaker. To her credit, the new recruit rises to the occasion and performs to Crystal's satisfaction.
After a round of interviews, meetings etc etc which seem to make up a typical day for Crystal she begins to reminisce to her lesbian accountant (Andrea True) about how she and Chino started the business while they were both down and out street hookers.
We get a selection of sex scenes from their past - their first meeting where she found him asleep in her doorway and fucked him. They both thought the other was a paying client and wanted payment at the end... ahhh,.. hooker love... how romantic.
We get to see their first client (Jamie Gillis) who sat and watched while she and Chino had sex, then surprised Chino by getting Crystal to stick a set of anal beads up his bum (or pretending to... it was quite obviously faked). Chino later turned the tables by sticking (or pretending to) a carrot up Jamie's bum while he fucked Crystal.
After a few more scenes, including an amazing effort by Dr Infinity where he sucked his own cock to completion while shoving a large cucumber up his own arse, Crystal stops reminiscing and goes off to buy a new house on Long Island for she and Chino to live in after the wedding.
As soon as she is out, we see that all is not well in Crystal's empire. Her lesbian accountant isn't a lesbian at all but Chino's secret mistress. They fuck while plotting to get rid of Crystal and take her empire for themselves. Crystal, who fortuitously returns early, overhears their dastardly plan. Can she turn the tables on them? You'll have to watch to find out.
This wasn't the greatest golden age porn but still worth a watch if you like the classics. There were some good performances from some of the greatest names in 70s porn. As usual, all the breasts were natural and the bushes and backs were hairy.
