The Devil in Miss Jones Part II

This week is another movie review for you - The Devil in Miss Jones Part II. Released in 1982, it was nine years after the original Devil in Miss Jones, but Georgina Spelvin who played Justine Jones was better looking than in the first, even though she was, by then, 47 years old. Yay middle-aged women.

Now the original was quite dark and depressing, so we'd been putting off watching this one for quite some time. I have to say that we were both astonished, and pleasantly surprised once we finally did.

Poor old Justine Jones is bored in hell. She can't cum without help, and although sex is allowed, orgasms aren't. She cheats by fucking Cyrano de Bergerac's nose (Alan Adrian) to completion. It was quite disconcerting to see and hear an orgasm alarm going off, red flashing lights and all. Hell's police arrive (in their penis helmets) and take her to see the Devil's Advocate (R. Bolla). Lucifer (a rather attractive Jack Wrangler) isn't happy with her either. Anyway Justine fucks Lucifer (or Lucy, as she calls him) to prove to him that sex is fantastic when done right. I really liked the special effects of him cumming - sparks and flames flying out of his cock. And did you know that devils have erogenous tails? No, neither did I. But Justine discovered it, when she gave his tail a blow job. Anyway, in the throws of passion, Lucifer promises Justine anything she wants. Her desire is to return to earth and live a life of lust. Reluctantly (and being forced to accept it by the Devil's Advocate, at the risk of upsetting "upstairs") Lucifer agrees.

Her first body is that of a call girl, Roxanne (Jacqueline Lorians). She thoroughly enjoys it, particularly when a client, Arnold (Bobby Astyr, from Barbara Broadcast, amongst other classics) dresses up as the devil. That she enjoys a bit too much. Lucifer, in a fit of pique, transfers her to another body, one that she can't enjoy as much. A private in the army. Private Parts, in fact (Joanna Storm).

As Private Parts, she invades the men's showers, fucks another private, gets caught by the sargeant, gets hauled off to see the Captain (Michael Bruce). What starts off as a dressing-down ends up an undressing and fuck. Unfortunately they get sprung by a senior officer while she's shoving an extremely large phallus up the arse of the Captain (he can't get off any other way), and poor old Private Parts gets kicked out of the army.

Next body is that of Eve Schwartz, a quiet and conservative Tupperware sales lady (Anna Ventura). In comes Justine, and out goes the Tupperware and the conservative clothes. In comes revealing clothing and plastic sex toys (early 80s sex toys... eeewwww... things have come a long way since then). She finds Lance (George Payne) who has dumped his girlfriend Renata (Dorota Miguel) as she can't arouse him. Apparently no woman on earth can arouse him. Until he meets Eve. Eve can arouse him (at least, now that Justine is in control).

In the meantime, Lucifer watches all Justine's exploits on a console down in his headquarters in Hell. He gets increasingly frustrated and it becomes more and more apparent that he's jealous, but won't admit it. In order to stop Justine from enjoying herself further, he sticks her in the body of a nun. Yes, a nun. Sister Angela (Samantha Fox, no, not the 80s page 3 girl). Now in doing this, he runs the risk of seriously upsetting the folks upstairs, and going against the advice of his Advocate (who recognises that Lucifer is in love with Justine), but the green-eyed monster has too much hold on Lucifer and he does it anyway.

So there we are. Sister Angela is brought in to help nurse Roger (Daniel DuMaurier) a patient with a dangerously high fever (and a lusty outlook, made apparent as he makes a grab for his nurse, Merle Michaels, and sporting a huge erection under his bedclothes). Sister Angela is supposed to help him to relax, so that his fever has a chance to break. Lucifer makes the switch and just as Justine is about to go down on Roger, the boss upstairs takes charge and stops the situation with the "ray of light routine". As an aside here, I've seen people in high fevers; he didn't have one.

St Peter phones Lucifer and makes it quite clear that as he promised her an eternity of lust, he has to make good on it and put Justine back in Roxanne's body. Reluctantly (very reluctantly) Lucifer agrees, despite the fact that if he puts her back in that body, she'll never be able to move from it again and he won't be able to have any more contact with her. Justine is delighted when she gets the news.

With a flourish and flash of sparks, Justine is transported back to Roxanne. Her client (Joey Silvera) wants her to tell him she loves him when he cums. She won't tell him that she loves him, instead that she "lusts" him. In the throws of passion, she announces that she loves Lucy. Lucifer is watching on his monitor and hears her confession. Genuinely surprised and delighted, he makes a move and appears to her in the guise of Cyrano, watching while she masturbates. She's fooled until he cums and flames shoot out of his cock. The ending is a happy one, if a tad cliched.

There are lots of extras in this movie - Cleopatra (Dena Ferrara) and Marie Antoinette (Sharon Mitchell) fool around together and with the Devil's Advocate. Ron Jeremy plays Iago. This was in his lean days (lean but still very, very hairy) and we actually see him bend over and fellate himself - very impressive, I must say. Lots of extras and lots of sex.

The sets are appropriate, costuming is good (Lucifer looks great in his red suit and black shirt) and the filming has been done well. Parts of it were actually filmed on location in New York city. Humour has been used extremely well. The music was (surprisingly) great in this movie - there's one song, "It's just the Devil in Miss Jones" which is a fabulous track. It's reminiscent of 50s lounge music mixed with blues undertones, sung by Johnny Hartman and with the lyrics written by Jack Wrangler (amazing how talented Lucifer is). It really sounds like a mainstream piece of popular music.

So there we are. The Devil in Miss Jones 2 is not your average porn. It's more a rom-com with lots of sex. If you want something to have a quick wank to, this isn't it. If you want an enjoyable hour and 20 minutes of sex and humour, this fits the bill.
