The other night saw another of Tristan's offerings hit the screen; Tristan Taormino's Expert Guide to the G-Spot. This was released in 2008 by Vivid and is another of her educational series. Tristan uses her tried-and-true methods of instructing us how to find and pleasure the female g-spot, together with some hot (really hot) scenes demonstrating how to use it. She has a cast of stellar performers including Princess Donna, Sarah Blake, Faith Leon, Alec Knight, Penny Flame, Evan Stone, Kylie G Worthy and Derrick Pierce.
No subject in sex ed seems to be more controversial than the G spot. Scientists are still debating whether or not it even exists (if any of those scientists are reading now, take it from me. It exists). Tristan starts with the history of when the g-spot was first described in modern medicine (thank you Dr Grafenberg) and how it later got its name. She describes, both verbally, and with a very large diagram how to find it (those scientists who are still debating whether or not it exists - take note, she's even drawn a map). She even gives demonstrations on how to massage it with the aid of a clear masturbation sleeve. This is all to an audience who are there, quite clearly, to learn. They do not appear to be performers themselves, and it comes across more like a sex ed class for grown ups.
One of the points that Tristan makes frequently, is that the woman on the receiving end should be telling her partner what works and what doesn't, and providing guidance. She also makes the point that even if you are playing with it correctly, it still may not feel good for the woman. It's just the same as some guys liking the tips of their cocks being sucked, where others find it too much stimulation. Communication between partners is really important, and working the g-spot is a case in point.
The first scene is between Princess Donna (last seen by us in Superfreak) and Sarah Blake, and they perform for Tristan's class. Following Tristan's advice, the girls talk quietly to each other, discussion what works and what doesn't. I particularly liked when Sarah couldn't find the words to describe what Princess Donna was doing to her, but really liked it. Donna had to demonstrate in the air, Sarah confirmed it and went on to have a lovely orgasm.
The next scene was the first of the full-on sex scenes and featured Faith Leon and Alec Knight. They start off on a lounge, making out and both appear to be thoroughly enjoying it. This is not purely female-focused - Faith gave Alec a blow job. This scene is a little formulaic, but it still worked well. They get a vibe with a g-spot attachment in on the action and Faith merrily trips over the edge into orgasm.
The next scene is between Penny Flame (last seen by us in The Expert Guide to Anal Pleasure for Men) and Evan Stone (in too much stuff to list) and was somewhat longer than the previous scene. I don't know whether Penny and Evan are a real-life couple, or whether they just work together really well, but they both seem to know one another's bodies intimately. They start off with Evan pulling on a rather fetching purple glove to play with her clit and puss, and then adding toys into the mix. My only criticism thus far is that the point is made that silicone lube doesn't play nicely with silicone toys, and so we see Evan putting a condom on the toy to protect it. Then he proceeds to pour lube literally all over it, where it ran all the way down and past the condom. Still, he didn't have to pay for it, so I guess he wasn't all that fussed about being careful. Anyway, they have a lot of fun with it. Next up the glove has been ditched and they are hard at it. There are little pop-up messages that appear occasionally and we end up learning some new positions (including one we need to try out some time). Last, they move up onto the flight of stairs which is next to the lounge they've been on. This is where it gets really interesting. I'm impressed by their stamina - both are work hard and Penny is brought to her knees at the end. They are drenched with sweat at the end but both appear thoroughly sated.
The last scene is between Kylie G Worthy and Derrick Pierce. This one focuses more on squirting, as Kylie is lucky enough to be able to do it. Derrick has obviously watched Axel Braun's offering because he quotes Axel in that "any girl can squirt". Well Derrick obviously learnt his stuff, and more to the point, so has Kylie. She offers some advice that should help those of us still struggling to achieve it - don't try too hard, and learn to go with the flow. Remember not to tense the pelvic floor muscles when it feels like you are going to pee as that will stop you from squirting. Oh, and something else I hadn't realised. If there's anything in the vagina, it will block any fluid from coming out. I never knew before why fingers, dildos etc are always pulled out with such a flourish. Anyway, they get her off multiple times and the lounge they are on gets drenched. Lucky, lucky girl.
There's also the usual extra safe sex scenes, trailers and a bonus scene between Donna and Sarah. In keeping with Tristan's style, there are no cum shots, yay! The guys cum, but we don't have to see the girls being sprayed in the face. This movie runs at about 1 hour 20, so it's a manageable length, too.
So what did I take away from this? Girls, you've got to tell your partners what feels good and what doesn't. If you don't, they won't learn. Sadly, they aren't mind readers, so you do actually need to be able to articulate your thoughts while cumming. I do know that there are times when I go from "that feels fantastic" to "no, stop, that's too much" in the space of about 10 seconds, which can be difficult for Dave when he has previously been doing the right thing.
This is definitely a worth-while purchase for anyone who deals with a pussy and wants to play with a g-spot or for someone who owns a pussy and wants their g-spot played with.
