Recently I received an email from Cinema Erotique, promoting some new films that they had just released. They sounded interesting, so I contacted Cherry Chapman and asked if we could have review copies. She very kindly agreed, so today I'm reviewing Porn: The Musical, Bible Bashing and Barbie's Washday. Like all Cherry's films, these are short (Porn is the longest at 32 minutes) and feature girls who predominantly come from Eastern Europe. The costumes are well done, the sets are good (the bedroom in Bible Bashing is very flash and the exterior of the house is nice too) and the girls are all lovely to look at, with natural boobs, mostly natural hair and not covered in outrageous tattoos. Some even have (sculpted) pubes.
The first film is somewhat unusual; it is indeed a musical. It has all those features common to musicals, costumes, dancing, and people bursting into song for no apparent reason. You may hate musicals, and avoid it for that reason; Dave nearly did. But Porn: The Musical has its funny moments and it is well made.
It stars Morgan Moon and Megan Moon. Now I don't know much about these girls, other than that they are both very pretty. When they first meet, they are like yin and yang with Megan Moon dressed in black with black hair and Morgan Moon dressed in white and wearing a long white wig. The opposites attract and it goes from there. It's very arty and lesbian porn isn't my thing, as long-time readers will know, but the whole film is well done. I don't think that the girls were doing their own vocal work for the songs, but there's many a mainstream movie which has the songs dubbed, so I'm not going to criticise that.
The songs are worth listening to as the lyrics have been well-written - "so get your hand off our pussies they don't come out to play" and "We are girls of sleaze, we aim to please" are just a sample.
So in summary, great costumes (while they are there!), dancing, fun songs and well-shot, arty lesbian porn.
Next up was Bible Bashing, which stars Steve Hooper and Suzi Best. Suzi is very pretty and Steve is extremely easy on the eye, which makes a really nice change (although I must be fair, I have noticed a trend in mainstream porn recently of the guys being much more attractive. They must be being hired for more than the length of their cocks now!). Briefly, Steve knocks on the front door to do some harassment... sorry, outreach work, and gets hauled inside by Suzi and her gal pal. He gets dragged to the bedroom where before he can tell them that they are the whores of Satan, Suzi is fucking him vigorously with her pal watching on and wanking. He cums and comes around, with a heartfelt "Praise the Lord" - kudos to him for remembering his line at the end! If only the bible bashers around here were anywhere near as appealing, they'd be at risk of a similar experience.
Barbie's Washday is a short stop-motion piece put together by Cherry and her team and features Barbie, Cindy and Ken in solo, girl-girl and three-way stop-motion sex, produced by "Haardman Production". It's very funny and a nice twist on your average porn. The whole thing only runs for a tad under three minutes, but the three dolls cover a multitude of possibilities in that time. If you aren't going to scar your childhood memories by seeing the dolls you once played with performing sex acts, then go for it. Realistically, I think probably most of us made our dolls have sex once we got to puberty. I know I certainly did.
Cherry shoots using a high-def camera and Dick Powers does most of the music which is consistently good. The site states that the films are being updated every two weeks now. All in all, these are good films and I believe make the membership price of the site worth while. It's not an excessive cost either - US$90 for 12 months (discounted over the monthly cost) - you can't buy a new porn every two weeks for that price! Well, you probably could, but it would be utter crap, not the quality that Cherry is putting out.
