Hercules is from Wicked pictures and was a seriously good movie. Hercules was directed by Jonathan Morgan (he's a former performer) and stars Julia Ann, Evan Stone (as Herc) and Randy Spears as his side-kick Thesius. This was released in 2003 and Wicked and Jonathan Morgan have done themselves proud with a really classy big-budget production.
The sets are fantastic, the costumes are amazing and the cast is huge. Plenty of performers make cameo appearances and there's an element of "now where is that person from?" while watching it. Ron Jeremy and Mike Horner have non-sex roles, with Mike as the narrator. The best part is the humour - it was hilarious. And the best thing was - it was supposed to be. This was Evan Stone and Randy Spears (the two funniest guys in porn) hamming it up to the max. It was a comedy with sex scenes. Almost Pythonesque in places. We were almost laughing too hard to fuck while watching this one.
The sex is hot. Really hot. I personally would have liked to see more of Evan fucking (I'd be his fluffer any day!), and perhaps less of some of the other men. But that's another issue altogether. Randy Spears isn't my cup of tea, but his one-on-one scene with a girl who's name I've forgotten is quite lovely to watch. And the Asian chick (who's name escapes me now) waves a mean sword and has a really good threesome.
We have only two complaints. The first is at the start of chapter 6, when Hercules is getting to know Queen Hypolyte, there is a glitch in the disk which, on the piece-of-crap DVD player in our bedroom, caused it to skip the entirety of the scene, jumping straight to the end. On our good DVD player in the living room, it stalled for a second, then recovered and kept playing. There is no visible damage to the disk, so we think it is something which must have occurred in the burning of it.
The second relates to how Julia Ann plays her part of Hera (wife of Zeus and chief goddess). She gives Hera a nasally New York (Brooklyn perhaps?) accent which is really harsh to listen to. I know it was part of the character, but it did make it hard to listen to her monologues to camera.
Both disks have lots of extras, and disk two also has an alternate ending (although it was a pity we couldn't see it as an option to the movie). The cover lists multi-angled orgasms as a feature, but we couldn't get it happening on our DVD player. I don't know if they just mean that they used more than one camera to shoot them or not!
This is something that we would highly recommend to anyone who wants some humour with their sex. So there you go, Hercules is the sexiest comedy (and funniest porn) we have seen in a long time. A big thumbs up from both of us.
