Recently I received a shiny new blue Little Flirt (as opposed to Big Flirt) butt plug from the good people at Tantus.
It is very pretty to look at, being a deep, rich blue in colour, and the silicone is indeed shiny. It's not very big (ideal for a beginner, ie me) - it's about 2 1/2 cm (1 inch) across at its widest point and about 7cm (not quite 3 inches) long in the shaft. It has a wide base on it that fits well into a harness (or an arse - it isn't likely to disappear forever).
Now down to the nitty-gritty of it. While room temperature doesn't feel too bad to a hand, to a freckle (or butt-hole), it gets a bit chilly. Fortunately silicone warms up quickly. With plenty of lube, it goes in real easy, although I found that self-insertion is better than Dave doing it.
The plug stays in well, although the round shape of the base makes it a little uncomfortable between the butt-cheeks when worn long-term. An oval base may be more comfortable for that.
Once it was in, I quickly got used to it. It didn't move around, and with the base being narrower than the shaft, it allows the sphincter muscle to relax a little. It basically allowed me to be full without being overwhelming. Not having a prostate to stimulate, I can't imagine that it will become a regular addition to our sexual repertoire, but as an occasional thing, it is fine. I must admit, I was surprised at how much my anus twitches when I cum - I'd never realised it before, but having something solid in there makes it very apparent.
I suspect it is for those times when I'm absolutely rampant, and have a wide-on big enough to swallow a car. Those are the occasions when every orifice needs something in it. Except perhaps for my ears and nose. I'm not into asphyxiation. Or deafness.
On the whole, this is something I'd recommend.
