Well it's ages since I've done a toy review, but here one is. Recently I bought a Rechargeable DeLight DeLuxe vibrator. This is one of the Fun Factory's premium rechargeable vibes. Made of silicone and skin friendly plastic it comes shaped for g-spot stimulation.
The vibrator has the "royal curl" at the end to act as a handle. It has about 7 speeds and then 3 different pulses similar to the LAYAspot. It even has a bump to work on the clit (more on that below). Like all Fun Factory products we've reviewed (the LAYAspot, Flexi Felix), the quality is high and the motor in this is reliable and pretty quiet. It also looks stunning.
One thing was very obvious from the start - it is very much designed for solo use. The controls are located so that they are easily accessible for someone using it on themselves which is fantastic if you are using it solo but does make it tricky for a partner to use it on you. It also hooks around and pretty much covers the whole area. That also makes it a bit awkward for a partner to help. Not much room for an extra set of fingers in there. The controls are easy to use and have a light so you can find them in the dark.
The charging unit is pretty cool - it is attached by two pairs of magnets. You cannot attach them the wrong way as the poles are reversed for safety. The charging unit has a light on the connection which turns off when it is charged. The other neat thing about the charger is that it suits all the vibes in the Fun Factory rechargeable range so you only need one. Every vibe does come with a charger though so you do end up with a bunch of spares. Maybe the Fun Factory could sell them separately - spend an extra few dollars on a charger with your first vibe then you can buy as many of their vibes as you like without needing another. The vibrator is water resistant so it can be cleaned but it's not water proof. It even comes in a range of colours (mine is blackberry and black, very pretty).
So how did it go? Well it certainly works well on my g-spot. It feels pretty good everywhere else, including some interesting sensation in my perineum. What it doesn't do, at least for me, is work on my clit as well. The bump is, alas, not quite in the right spot. I've found this before which is why I don't buy rabbit-style vibes. However there must be some women for whom this would be a good fit. I also suspect that I really need more intense clit action to cum (like fingers) so straight vibration isn't that great for me anyway. Even a bullet vibe right on the clit won't get me there, I really need to rub as well. If you cum from just vibration this may work a lot better for you.
And the verdict? It's pretty good but don't expect huge amounts of clit stimulation.
