A while back we reviewed an amazing Jewelled Plug from a company called Rosebuds. Those that remember our Rosebuds review may recall that Rosebuds don't just make beautiful, handmade butt-plugs. They make other amazing, handmade sex jewellery as well. Most of it is fairly hardcore but there were a few other things that caught our eye when we were buying Mrs Dave's plug. One of those was their Bumballs.
Now what on earth, I hear you ask are Bumballs? Well, the simplest description I can give is that they are two stainless steel spheres, about 30mm in diameter (just over an inch), one studded with jewels, the other plain, and connected together with a steel bar about 20cm (nearly an inch) long and as thick as your little finger. As the name implies, one ball (the non-jewelled one) goes up your bum. So, in the interests of science, up it went.
Although the Bumball was only a few mm larger than our small plug, its spherical shape makes it a lot harder to get in than the more usual tapered plugs. Once it's in though, the small diameter of the stem means you barely feel it in there. So why bother? That question gets answered the first time you move.
You see, where our Rosebud plug weighs a hefty 90g (and you may remember us saying how much you felt it shifting inside you when you moved) the Bumballs weigh an amazing 230g. You really, really feel these things move. What's more, the weight of the external ball causes them to feel like they are falling out (not that they would - the internal ball is too big to let them) so you naturally clench to keep it in which causes the whole thing to move back in. Vigorously fucking Mrs Dave with the ball banging against my prostate and moving in and out at the same time was amazing.
Mrs Dave, who isn't a huge anal fan, had a go as well and after an initial struggle to get it in she found it quite comfortable. The movement in her bum she described as "weird...but in a good way". I suspect that she would get used to it on a few more tries and just be left with the "in a good way" part. We will experiment further and see what happens.
Bumballs are another fantastic Rosebuds product. The quality is superb. Hand made and really beautiful. They feel fantastic. Highly recommended. If you like anal play, get yourself a set. Even if you don't, get some and give them a try. You may be surprised.
