Well, as I mentioned in the Icicles Twister review recently, I have another pretty glass dildo. It is the CyberGlass Pink Indulgence, from Adam and Eve (Topco Sales).
Like the Icicles Twister, it is hand-blown, fracture-resistant glass. It also needs warming on a cold night, or chilling on a hot day. It also will break if dropped on a hard surface. This one comes with a pretty pink faux-velvet pouch to keep it in so it doesn't get scratched. This is angled for g-spot use (which is why I chose it) and features some interesting ridges and bumps lower down on the shaft. It is 20.5 cm (8") long, including the handle, 17 cm (6 3/4 ") to the handle. It is 11 cm (4 5/16") at the widest point of both the first two knobs. The knob that has the little bumps is 12 cm (4 3/4") around.
Altogether, it is both beautifully made and presented. See?
As well, the good folk over at Topco Sales are doing some pretty interesting things to ensure that their business is reasonably environmentally friendly - they have installed energy efficient lighting that only switches on when there are people in the room, all their paper is recycled or used as packaging. We always try to choose environmentally aware companies if we can, so well done Topco.
However...while it is pretty and it does all it is meant to, it just isn't as good a dildo for me as the Icicles Twister is. I found the pointy end a bit too, well, hard (yes, I know it is glass, and I know it is meant to be hard). It was actually uncomfortable to use against my g-spot. I think it is that the point is too narrow; more rounded and a bit fatter would have been better. I'm also not sure of the purpose of the bumps on the lower knob, as all they did was rub around my lips, and didn't really do anything else. If they were meant to stimulate my clit at the same time, they were waaaaay off. If they were meant to stimulate the inside edge of my pussy, then the whole dildo is too long for me.
Dildoes are a very personal thing (in more than one way) and in this case, this one just doesn't suit me as well as it would some other women. I presume that some women get to road-test the prototypes of dildoes when they are being designed, and presumably this suited the women who tested it. Unfortunately it doesn't suit me. While I managed to cum, it wasn't nearly as good as it could have been.
I'll use it occasionally, but it's never going to be my favourite dildo and it won't be added to the regular rotation. In my opinion (humble or otherwise) the Icicles Twister is simply the better dildo.
