Today I'm reviewing the most beautiful, heaviest (and possibly most expensive) toy I've ever bought!
We're talking the njoy Pure Wand here, which weighs in at a whopping 680 gm (24 ounces). This beautifully crafted, beautiful-to-look-at piece of polished stainless steel is also beautifully presented. It comes in a lovely black storage box. Inside the lid of the box is lined with black velvet, where the care leaflet is tucked into a ribbon to hold it. The Wand itself sits in a shaped section that is lined with bright pink fabric (pink is "their" colour). The whole thing then is tucked into a cardboard slip case that is discretely printed with the company name. I know that we have both ranted over excessive packaging before, but in this case, I'm prepared to overlook it. The total package is discrete enough that, unless it was opened, no-one would know what it was. See?
The Wand has balls at either end of the shaft that are 2 1/2 cm (1") and nearly 4 cm (1 1/2") in size. Writing that while I'm looking at it, I don't doubt their measurements, but the balls sure look larger (and feel it too, for that matter). The shaft is curved, it measures 25 1/2 cm (10") along the curve and almost 20 cm (8") end-to-end.
The curve is designed to stimulate the G-spot (or for the adventurous, the P-spot). From my point of view, it works admirably on my G-spot. According to the care leaflet, it is also really good for use for female ejaculation. Sadly, I cannot verify that, as I've never managed it (and not for want of trying!).
The Wand is a heavy beast, so it's not something to use for a quick flog. However, for a sustained session, either end of it feels good. It is so smooth and well rounded that there are no hard edges to dig in and annoy. Most recently I used it in conjunction with the Love Swing (see our reviews here or here). My conclusion? Just perfection!
The Wand is easy to clean, just with soap and water, then dried with a soft cloth. It can also be sterilised in boiling water or a mild (10%) bleach solution if needed. Because it is so smooth, you won't need much lube on it.
Now I have to be honest here, the Pure Wand is a very pricey piece of kit. Buying direct from njoy it retails for US$110. Checking a few Australian web sites, it is anywhere from A$200 to A$240. Due to the weight of it, it will also cost more for shipping (although some places offer free shipping over certain values, so look out for that). However, having said all that, it will literally last a lifetime, it is easy to care for, it is beautiful (seriously, I can't stress that bit enough), it doesn't need batteries, and the only noise it makes is me screaming!
Go out and buy the njoy Pure Wand today, this is one piece of equipment you will never regret buying.
