What's this? An out-of-sync post? And a new banner ad? Well yes. Last year I found out about the Annual Blogger Boobie-Thon. A seven-day event, it aims to raise funds for breast cancer research. As breast cancer has touched several members of my family, I thought this was a worthwhile thing to take part in. Unfortunately, although that was the 9th event, I found out about it too late to take part.
This year is different. This is the 10th year, so it is bigger than ever. I set reminders for myself, so that it didn't slip under my radar again, and tonight I have submitted a series of photos.
What do I want you to do? Well, I'd really like you to go to the website (http://www.boobiethon.com) and pledge some funds. Alternately you can click on the banner to go straight to the site. There are lots of boobies to look at, all manner of shapes and sizes. If we girls are lucky, there will even be some male photos. Though not moobs (man boobs) please, they aren't attractive. They've made it really easy to view them, and you can even subscribe to an RSS feed so that you get notified when new shots are posted.
But they aren't naked, I hear you cry. Well, no, they aren't. The shots that are freely available are covered boots. If you want to see bare ones, you have to make a donation of US$50 or more. For that, you get access to the password-protected, "pay-per-boobie" page. Who knows, if I get sufficient encouragement, I might submit some bare ones myself...
So go on, visit the site and make a donation. You'll be helping out a really good cause, and get to see boobs at the same time. It's all good.
