Something a bit different this time folks - I'm reviewing some eco-porn. Yes, you heard correctly - Eco-Porn. Environmentally friendly fucking. Fucking for the forests to be precise.

Fuck for Forests was set up a few years ago by some European environmental activists, who decided that a great way to raise awareness of environmental issues and raise some money for conservation projects was to make porn. Not the first idea that springs to most people's minds but it sprang to theirs and more power to them for it. I seem to recall the founders had some early publicity when they appeared on stage at a music festival and proceeded to have sex in front of the entire audience. The band involved was called something like the Cumshots. I think they were arrested for it but it certainly raised some awareness.

I do have to declare a slight interest here. Those of you who have read some of our other reviews will know that I'm a bit of a hippy. Actually, I'm a lot of a hippy. A hemp-wearing, renewable-energy-using, organic-vegetable-growing, walking-to-work hippy. As a card-carrying tree-hugger and a confirmed porn lover I think this is a fantastic idea. I get to watch hippy chicks having sex, often in the very forests they are trying to conserve. I love outdoor sex. Doing it and watching it. They have a few short sample videos on the site for non-members and let me tell you, hippy chicks - HOT. It's all self-produced stuff, so don't expect professional production values. Do expect real people having real sex though. I find this sort of thing much more of a turn-on than most of the mainstream stuff where it's plastic girl going through the motions with plastic guy.

My only problem with the site is that the design, well, it kinda sucks and the sample video is pretty short and low quality which could turn some people off. If you're listening guys - spruce up the website a little. I know you're trying to spend as much as possible on the forests and as little as possible on admin but a few days work by a good web designer may do you some good in the long run. 

I've told you about the fucking part, what about the forests? According to their web site, they are running a bunch of projects, mostly in Costa Rica and Ecuador, trying to raise money to buy up rainforests and preserve them. Out of your $15 monthly fee, $12 goes directly to the forest projects and the remaining $3 pays for upkeep of the web site. Last year they raised $120,000 which isn't a huge amount, but it's still not to be sneezed at, and not bad at all for a bunch of hippies having sex. I'd also much rather my hard-earned disposable income went to conserving forests than helping some porn producer in LA buy a new Mercedes.

So go on. If you're at all interested in the environment (which I'm hoping you are) and are at all interested in porn (which, given you're here, I'm sure you are) do yourself a favour and check these guys out. You'll be doing yourself and the environment some good.
